Leipzig to bid farewell to Gruda with no permanent deal in sight

Brajan Gruda will officially bid farewell to RB Leipzig on Saturday – with his loan expiring and no purchase option agreed.

For now, he will return to Brighton, but Leipzig and Gruda have already established a good relationship.

According to German Sky TV, both parties attach great importance to each other, but Brighton will not choose to rent directly again.

It doesn’t make economic sense. If he is loaned out again, it will be under certain conditions – such as a compulsory purchase.

Leipzig have not currently budgeted for a permanent transfer for Gruda as a high transfer fee for his position is not currently a priority.

It’s important to note that if things change in the offensive department — and revenue is generated — that could change quickly.

The truth is that Gruda would never have been courted by Leipzig if Assange Ouedraogo hadn’t suffered a long-term injury this season.
