This will be the fourth time these two legendary forwards have faced off in the NBA playoffs. The top three all made it to the NBA Finals, but this time it came a little early, in a first-round series between the fourth and fifth seeds.

Statistically, LeBron is the most experienced player in NBA history. He’s been involved in a lot of playoff games throughout his years, especially against Kevin Durant. He knows what it takes to go up against a legend.
In the upcoming game between the Lakers and Rockets, James knows Durant is the main threat. However, he also admitted that the Rockets are not just a team led by Durant, there are many top players on the team roster.

With names like Amen Thompson and Alperon Sengon, the Rockets have all the tools to beat the Lakers. Considering the Lakers are short-handed without Luka Doncic and Austin Reeves, that puts even more responsibility on LeBron’s shoulders.
“You know, the Houston Rockets have some really good players. So, it’s not just Durant’s team, it’s a complete team. Obviously, like I said, Durant is going to do what Durant does. He’s a Hall of Famer and we know that. So, we have to be ready not just for him but for the whole team,” James said of the playoff matchup against a talented Rockets team.
The Rockets will be a tough team to beat, but they’re not impossible to beat. LeBron could turn back the clock, but that seems unlikely to happen as the Rockets could overwhelm him and the short-handed Lakers in the series.
