The Las Vegas Raiders made huge strides in the 2026 NFL offseason by signing receiver Jalen Nailor, center Tyler Linderbaum, linebackers Quay Walker, Nakobe Dean and defensive lineman Kwity Paye to three-year contracts, while also re-signing veteran cornerback Eric Stokes, EDGE EDGE Malcolm Koonce and defensive tackle Thomas Booker. The Raiders also made two additional trades with linebacker Connor Heyward and receiver/special teams ace Dalek Young to lower-value contracts. Las Vegas currently has about $35 million in cap space, not including the contracts of Quay Walker, Connor Hayward, Derrick Young and Matt Gay, but after accounting for those signings, Las Vegas should have about $24 million in cap space, with additional room to move if they retool Maxx Crosby or Kolton Miller. Las Vegas’ roster is 63 of 90, and they have plenty of room to add additional players on lower-value deals as veterans look to sign before the draft.
QB Kirk Cousins
Cousins turns 38 in August, and the veteran quarterback has found his options drying up recently, with both the Falcons and Vikings signing former first-rounders as backups. Additionally, Cousins is looking for an opportunity to push for a starting job, and Las Vegas will allow him to do that under former coaches Andrew Janoco and Clint Kubiak. The Raiders reportedly did not want Fernando Mendoza to start right away, and Cousins had nearly 180 NFL games of experience, including 167 starts, making him a powerful mentor to Mendoza and keeping the Raiders competitive until his death.

QB Joe Flacco
Similar to Cousins, Flacco will keep the Raiders competitive while also having a veteran quarterback to help guide Mendoza as he gets his start in the NFL. Flacco, who earned his first Pro Bowl in 2025, has been successful throughout his career with over 200 career starts, finishing the 2025 season with 2,479 yards, 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, and a 60% completion rate. Flacco is considering a return to Cincinnati, although the opportunity to compete for the starting job initially is also attractive to the 41-year-old.
RB Najee Harris
Harris suffered a season-ending injury in Week 3 against the Broncos, although he is a high-potential signing for Las Vegas and, at only 28 years old, could form a formidable duo with Jeandy if healthy. Harris is a true short-yardage power back who does have long-distance ability, with 41 career carries of 15 or more yards and 103 total carries of 10 or more yards. Harris has reached 1,000 yards in four of his five seasons in the NFL, and has 4,460 yards and 28 touchdowns in his career. Harris also does provide value as a receiver, with 1,229 yards and six touchdowns in his career. Harris likely won’t be worth much after his injury, and he doesn’t offer a ton of energy as a distance runner, but could provide a solid complement to Jeanty to help in short-yardage situations.
RB Jerome Ford
At just 26 years old, Ford will provide the Raiders with a complementary backstop in Ashton Jeanty, who has 349 career carries for 14,800 yards, seven touchdowns, 71 forced snaps and 15 rushes of 15 yards or more. Ford attempted just 24 carries last season, but as a rotational running back he had 730 yards in 2023 and 565 yards in 2024. The former fifth-rounder also provided some value as a receiver with 662 yards, five touchdowns and 111 catches, although he has struggled throughout his career, including 13 catches.

running back michael carter
Carter, a former fourth-rounder for the Jets, finished the 2025 season with 333 yards and a touchdown while also forcing nine tackles for loss. Additionally, the soon-to-be 27-year-old has career production numbers of 1,692 yards, nine touchdowns, and 4.0 yards per carry, while also adding value as a receiver with 145 catches, 1,038 yards, and one touchdown. Carter is smaller but provides a dual-threat running back, and Las Vegas may look to add him behind Genty and compete with Dylan Laube.
WR Jayan Jennings
Jennings, 28, is considered the top receiving target on the free agent market with 132 catches, 1,618 yards and 15 touchdowns over the past two seasons. While Jennings, who turns 29 in July, doesn’t provide a ton of explosiveness downfield, he is consistently among the NFL’s top 10 percent YAC threats in separations/targets, YAC/receptions and yards/route runs. Jennings is also valuable as a contested catcher, having caught 39 of 67 attempts over the past two seasons with only nine missed catches. Las Vegas may not be able to afford top-end value for Jennings, although the team is looking for more receiving depth to pair with Trey Tucker, Jalen Naylor and second-year receivers Jake Bache and Donte Thornton. Jennings has been in contact with Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak and 49ers passing game coordinator and receivers coach Zach Azzani, who was his receivers coach at Tennessee. While Jennings doesn’t fit into Las Vegas’ high salary, he could serve as a below-market signing option.
T Fred Johnson
Johnson will take 698 shots for the Hawks in 2025 and 497 in 2024. Johnson, who will primarily play right tackle in 2025, is having the best season of his career so far, with two sacks, 19 pressures and six sacks. He has allowed 13 sacks, 83 pressures and 15 sacks in his career, although he struggled at left tackle, with eight sacks and 38 pressures in 2024, playing nearly 80% of his snaps on the left side. Johnson, 6-foot-7, 326 pounds, has experience working in a wide zone system and is best at right tackle, something Las Vegas needs to address in some form this offseason. Las Vegas has DJ Glaze, who struggled last season, and will likely need to play guard alongside 2025 third-round pick Charles Grant, whom Las Vegas has high hopes for. Grant will likely assume the right tackle role in 2026, but the extra competition and veteran presence wouldn’t be a bad option.
T Kendall Lamm
The 33-year-old Lahm only played seven snaps in 2025 but did have over 3,000 snaps in his career. The 6-foot-5, 310-pounder has experience at both left and right tackles, although he also has over 700 snaps at right tackle. In 2024, Lahm allowed 0 sacks and 12 pressures on 336 pass-blocking attempts, mostly on the right side. Additionally, he allowed just 4 sacks and 32 pressures in 2023 and 2024 in a system very similar to Clint Kubiak in Las Vegas. The Raiders are looking for a stopgap at right tackle, and/or a veteran swing tackle, and Rahm fits both roles.

Brady Christensen
Christensen is a former third-rounder out of BYU who has experience at all five offensive line positions in a system the Raiders are familiar with. The 29-year-old Christensen is coming off the 2025 season, having played most of his time at right guard and had one sack and five pressures. Additionally, Christensen had just seven sacks and 65 pressures in 1,300 pass-blocking attempts, a success primarily at linebacker. The Raiders need offensive line depth, and Las Vegas could certainly benefit from someone with experience at all five positions.
RB/KR Kane Nwangwu
Nwangwu, a former fourth-round pick for the Vikings in 2021, does have some experience against Andrew Janocko and Klint Kubiak, and while his work as a running back has been very limited, Nwangwu is an All-Pro kick returner. The 28-year-old finished the 2025 season with 604 yards, a touchdown and 14 forced tackles on 18 kick returns and has 2,664 yards and five touchdowns on 90 career returns.
