Lamar Jackson evades sack, tosses 50-yard, go-ahead TD in fourth quarter

Lamar Jackson is totally Lamar Jackson.

The two-time MVP somehow avoided sacks by two Steelers defenders and threw a 50-yard touchdown as the Ravens led the Steelers 17-13 in the fourth quarter.

On third-and-4, Pittsburgh edge rusher Alex Highsmith was unblocked on the left side of the offense and defensive tackle Keanu Benton went through the middle. But somehow, when the two met in Jackson, neither defender could hang on and take him down.

Jackson stepped up and threw a long pass to an open Flowers – who was being guarded by Patrick Queen – and the receiver caught the ball for a touchdown and the lead.

On the injury front, Ravens left guard Andrew Voorhees tiptoed off the field after being shaken by a pass early in the fourth quarter. Emery Jones started at left-back after making a brief appearance as a substitute for defender Daniel Faalele earlier in the game. Voorhis’ return remains questionable due to a foot injury.
