LeBron James’ injury issues may have something to do with the 41-year-old entering his 23rd pro season, but his numbers show he still has some stuff left. James has successfully managed sciatica and arthritis to start 2026, so his fingerprints will be visible tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers.
With Luka Doncic scoring so much for the Los Angeles Lakers, I’m targeting LeBron’s rebounds and assists here, and he’s surpassed this combined O/U number in four of the last five games.

James has excelled in both categories so far this month, averaging 7.7 rebounds and 7.6 assists in January, and he was on the verge of a triple-double in Los Angeles’ win over the Denver Nuggets earlier this week.
Until Austin Reeves returns, LeBron will take a larger share of the offense, especially with Luka on the bench and without much secondary possession in the current rotation. Likewise, he plays a big role on the boards along with Deandre Ayton.
At this point in his career, James can still do the little things to push for wins, and the Lakers will need all their veterans to stop their cross-town rivals tonight.

Harden continues to put up great numbers, and I’m going to take over his rebounding here. He’s grabbed four or more rebounds in six of his last seven games, and if the Clippers can avoid Luka’s defensive duties, they’ll be happy to keep him closer to the basket.
