Konami announces press conference to be broadcast live
Konami Press Start Live follows a series of video game showcase events held over the past week. Sony held its State of Play conference on June 4, followed by the Summer Game Festival on June 6. Microsoft hosted a packed Xbox gaming showcase on Sunday, where it confirmed the next Call of Duty game.
“Join KONAMI as they broadcast the latest information about upcoming new games like Silent Hill F and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater,” the live stream’s description reads. The company has confirmed that the live broadcast will be 37 minutes long.
Konami’s livestream will also feature developers discussing upcoming games. Press to go live on June 12 at 6 a.m. PDT/9 a.m. EDT, or 6:30 p.m. IST on Konami’s YouTube and Twitch channels.
The broadcast will focus on Metal Gear Delta: Snake Eater and Silent Hill. Both games received new trailers during Sony’s State of Play livestream last week. The trailer for Metal Gear Solid 3 Remastered shows off new gameplay. It will release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X on August 28th.
At State of Play, Konami also confirmed the release date of Silent Hill f and revealed gameplay for the upcoming game. The standalone Silent Hill spin-off will be released on September 25th on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S/X.
In “Silent Hill F”, the player plays the role of high school student Hinako Shimizu, whose hometown Emisuoka has fallen into a nightmarish fog. Hinako must explore the town, face her fears, and fight terrifying monsters to survive.
