Karan Johar’s long-running celebrity talk show Koffee With Karan will return for its ninth and final season on October 14, 2026, streaming on JioHotstar. The season will conclude a run that began in 2004 and has produced 161 episodes across eight previous seasons.
The reported guest list for the final season includes several high-profile pairings, with two guests named Ananya and the married couple Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra expected to appear.
Final Season Announcement
Karan Johar announced the conclusion of the show in late September. The filmmaker stated that the ninth season would be the last, marking an end to the talk show after 22 years on air.
The series has been a fixture of Indian celebrity culture since its debut, known for candid conversations and the rapid-fire round that often generated headlines. The final season will stream on JioHotstar starting October 14.
Reported Guest Lineup
According to multiple reports, the final season will feature a mix of returning guests and first-time appearances. Alia Bhatt is expected to share the couch with her sister Shaheen Bhatt, who has not previously appeared on the show.
Ananya Panday is reportedly set to appear alongside Ananya Birla. The pairing would bring together two prominent figures with the same first name from different industries.
Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are expected to make a joint appearance. The couple married in 2023 and recently became parents, according to reports.
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are also reportedly set to appear together. Vijay has previously appeared on the show during the promotion of his film Liger, while Rashmika would be making her debut.
Other reported guests include Kareena Kapoor Khan with Saif Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan with Janhvi Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan with Ibrahim Ali Khan. The list also names Vedang Raina, Sharvari Wagh, Lakshya, and Kriti Sanon.
Confirmed and Rumored Details
The guest list has not been officially confirmed by the show’s producers or JioHotstar. Reports have circulated since August 2026, with several publications citing unnamed sources and leaked lists.
Salman Khan is rumored to appear in the season’s first episode, which would mark his return to the show after a decade. Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan have also been mentioned in reports as potential guests for the finale.
The show’s final season represents the end of a format that shaped celebrity interviews in India. The combination of personal questions, competitive segments, and Johar’s hosting style made the show a recurring source of viral moments and public discussion.
Koffee With Karan Season 9 premieres on JioHotstar on October 14, 2026.
