After winning a Super Bowl as the Seattle Seahawks’ offensive coordinator, Clint Kubiak has arrived in Las Vegas to be the Raiders’ next head coach.

As expected, Kubiak’s first question focused on All-Pro pass rusher Maxx Crosby, who was targeted for the win. Speculation about his future with the organization has surfaced recently after he allegedly told minority owner Tom Brady he planned to leave Las Vegas, Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported.
Those rumors were addressed when Kubiak spoke to the media on Tuesday, revealing that Crosby was the first player in the Raiders building and they had a cup of coffee together.
“I had a cup of coffee with Maxx this morning. Loved talking to him,” Kubiak said. “I’m looking forward to continuing those conversations. He’s the first one here to work out. So that’s exciting for me.
“We want him to be part of our future success, there’s no doubt about it.”

If Kubiak’s comments are accurate – which seems likely – then it sounds like Crosby isn’t ready to leave the Raiders just yet.
Crosby is under contract through 2029, so even if there is some potential drama, the Raiders are under no obligation to trade him. While this could complicate Kubiak’s first offseason, Crosby hasn’t given any clear signals that he plans to leave, and the Raiders don’t appear to have any plans to move their core players.
