Kenneth Walker III: Early ADP and scoring projections for Seahawks RB

Kenneth Walker III’s stock reached unprecedented levels after his MVP performance in Super Bowl 60. There are two key questions for fantasy managers looking ahead to the 2026 season: What is his RB ADP this summer, and is he prepared to exceed or underperform expectations?

A lot will depend on Walker’s contract status. He expressed a desire to stay in Seattle, and his strong late-season performance, which included 5.2 yards per carry over the final six games, should make him a blockbuster signing. It also helps (or hurts, depending on perspective) that teammate Zach Charbonnet suffered a torn ACL late in the year and likely won’t return until the middle of next season. If the Seahawks want to turn around, Walker is one of the most important signings.

But the 25-year-old’s upcoming ADP is unclear. Last season, he ranked just 29th among RBs in fantasy points per game — one spot behind Charbonnet. He has only finished in the top 16 once in four years, during an injury-plagued 2024 season in which he played in just 11 games.

His post-Super Bowl hype should continue into the summer, giving him an ADP between RB8 and RB12. But this may be too optimistic. He finished the season (including playoffs) with 326 touches, easily surpassing his college and career highs. Charbonnet’s eventual return would take some of the pressure off Walker: That’s good news for a team hoping to make the playoffs again, but bad news for fantasy managers looking for a top-12 pick every week.

If you plan on drafting Walker, you probably want his ADP to be below RB16. But considering what he just showed us, it’s hard to imagine he could end up being available on the cheap.
