Kayshon Boutte Trolls ESPN Talking Heads After Patriots Beat Texans

This is what the Patriots were like in the Bill Belichick era ignore the noise. Mike Vrabel’s Patriots approach things a little differently.

In case you missed it, ESPN’s “NFL Live” panel unanimously picked the Houston Texans to beat New England in last Sunday’s divisional round game at Gillette Stadium. The Patriots won 28-16 and set up a road game against the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game.

After the win, receiver Kayshon Boutte, one of the best players in the game, used his Instagram Stories to troll Mina Kimes, Ryan Clark, Hannah Storm, Dan Orlovsky and Marcus Spears.

Take a look:

Bout wasn’t the only one to laugh at ESPN’s poor predictions. The Patriots’ social media team reveled in the network’s expense, with defensive tackle Milton Williams admitting the now-infamous clip inspired the New England defense.

“It definitely fuels the whole defense,” Williams told reporters, via ESPN’s Mike Reiss. “No one has been talking about our defense all year. We’ll see what they say today. Every week, we try to come out and dominate because we know they do have a good defense, but in our minds, it’s our defense versus their defense. See who can make more plays, create more turnovers, stop the run and get the ball back to our offense.”

The Patriots will continue the good times this Sunday against the Broncos at 3 PM ET. The winner will play the Seattle Seahawks or Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LX.
