Juventus have decided to block Mattia Perrin’s proposed move to Genoa, rejecting proposals from the Ligurian club in recent hours.
Genoa have submitted a formal offer to the goalkeeper and are hoping for progress in negotiations, but the Old Lady have now made it clear that Perrin will not be allowed to leave during the January transfer window.

Transfer expert Matteo Moreto said the decision had been communicated directly to Genoa, effectively ending negotiations.
Juventus changed attitude after Palin left, Genoa returned empty-handed
Palin took this position despite having reached an agreement in principle with Genoa on personal terms. The former Italy international had been open to a return to regular football, but Juventus opted to keep him as part of the squad for the remainder of the season.
The Bianconeri’s rejection perhaps reflects their desire to retain their goalkeeper depth and experience during a difficult second half of the season, especially with multiple games still in progress.

Therefore, Genoa will now be forced to explore other options as they look to strengthen in January.
