The Cardinals fired Gannon last week after three seasons as the team’s head coach.

The Cardinals are 15-36 during Gannon’s tenure, including 3-14 in 2025. While Arizona is off to a 2-0 start with wins over New Orleans and Carolina, the team has lost 14 of its past 15 games, with its only victory coming in Week 9 against Dallas.

Under Gannon’s leadership, the club posted an 8-9 record in 2024. Previously, Gannon had a 4-13 record when he took over in 2023.

Gannon earned the head coaching job after two seasons as the Eagles’ defensive coordinator. He also spent time with the Falcons, Titans, Vikings and Colts, although his time with the Eagles was his only experience as a defensive coordinator.
