CALGARY, Alberta (AP) — Joel Farabee scored twice and had an assist to lead the Calgary Flames to a 5-4 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night.
Morgan Frost had a goal and two assists for the Flames, who ended a four-game winless skid. Ryan Strome had a goal and an assist in his Calgary debut, and Blake Coleman also had a goal and an assist. Dustin Wolfe made 25 saves.

Seth Jarvis had a goal and two assists for the Eastern Conference-leading Hurricanes, who lost the regular season for just the second time in their last 16 games (12-2-2). Shane Walker, Alexander Nikishin and Andrei Svechnikov also scored for Carolina.
Brandon Bussi stopped 20 shots but had his nine-game winning streak snapped.
The Flames, playing their first game without top center Nazem Kadri, who was traded to Colorado on Friday, got off to a slow start when Jarvis scored on his first field goal 44 seconds into the game.
Calgary rallied with three goals in the second period to take the lead for good. Strome, acquired from Anaheim on Friday, scored 19 seconds into the first half off a pass from Olli Maatta, who also made his Flames debut after being traded from Utah on Wednesday.

Strome had two assists against Chicago in his first multi-point game since Dec. 7.
Flames guard Zach Whitecloud (upper body) left the game in the first quarter and did not return.
