Manchester United could be losing another academy gem if the latest reports are to be believed.
During the January transfer window, U18 ace Edward Ibrovich Fletcher decided to leave Carrington to join arch-rivals Leeds United.

Now another U18 talent, James Bailey, is considering leaving, according to Centredevils.
The 18-year-old is currently on trial with League One side Stockport County. If he impresses, a summer move seems possible.

Stockport are fourth in League One and firmly on course for promotion to the Championship.
“CentreDevils can reveal that Manchester United youngster James Bailey is currently on trial with League One side Stockport County.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder is understood to be on trial with Stockport, having joined them for their recent game against Preston North End.

“It is understood that any action following the trial will take place over the summer.”
Summer action is coming
The Englishman, who can operate as a midfielder or attacking midfielder, has been a regular under Darren Fletcher.
He made 14 appearances in all competitions and scored 1 goal. The midfielder has also made one appearance for Manchester United’s U21s this season.
James Bailey, who played for Wigan Athletic, joined the Red Devils in 2021 and made his debut for the U18s at the age of 15.
He was one of a number of U18 stars called up to train with the first team last year by former head coach Ruben Amorim.

Whether he joins Stockport in the summer or chooses to stay at Manchester United remains to be seen.
