More than a year after incarcerated rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs put his now-infamous mansion on the market for $61.5 million, he’s delisting it.
Two months after he was sentenced to four years in prison for transporting others into prostitution, the rapper appears to have halted his months-long effort to find a buyer for his California residence, which was the target of a Department of Homeland Security raid when agents stormed the property looking for evidence in a sex trafficking investigation.
Property records show the home was taken off the market on Dec. 24. It’s unclear what prompted the property’s delisting; however, Realtor.com® has reached out to a spokesperson for Diddy for comment.
Homes Listed with Celebrity Realtors Kurt rapaport– Originally on the market in September 2024, just days after Diddy, 56, was arrested in New York on sex trafficking, racketeering and traffic prostitution charges.
Didi has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him, and his lawyers argue he did not engage in any non-consensual sex.
The rapper was acquitted of all charges following a highly publicized trial earlier this year, but was still sentenced to 50 months in prison after a jury found him guilty of two prostitution-related offences.
In addition to jail time, the judge imposed a $500,000 fine, the maximum he could order, saying that was because Diddy had “tremendous resources that enabled him to commit the crime.”
Diddy purchased the 10-bedroom, 13-bathroom property for $39 million in 2014 and gained global notoriety in March 2024 when Homeland Security agents raided the property along with his $48 million Miami home as part of an investigation into the rapper’s alleged illegal activities.
Six months after that raid, Diddy was charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering, forcible sex trafficking, fraud or coercion and transportation for prostitution, and faces life in prison if convicted, the Associated Press reported.
In the months following his arrest, details emerged about evidence found inside the mansion, which prosecutors claimed was used as the venue for several so-called “wild” parties at which the rapper was accused of using his “power and popularity” to “abuse, threaten and coerce women… to satisfy his sexual desires,” according to an unsealed indictment.
During the trial, jurors were shown images of evidence found during raids at Diddy’s homes in Florida and California, which showed investigators finding multiple weapons, including AR-15 rifle parts, as well as multiple pairs of women’s high heels, sex toys and dozens of bottles of baby oil scattered throughout the sprawling property.
DHS agents also discovered several different drugs at the property Gerald Gannon Police found various pills, white powder and a “crystal-like substance” in a Gucci bag in the closet that later tested positive for cocaine and ketamine, CNN reported.

In one photo, a rubber duck can also be seen stored in a box, while in another, men’s hair dye is captured alongside a hair dryer.
A photo taken inside the home’s bathroom showed the mirror covered in several messages, some of which appeared to be written in lipstick, while others were scrawled in black marker.
One wrote: “Love you Diddy.” Another said: “What do you want?”
A third read: “You are a legend and very supportive of Team Puffy.”
However, the original listing for the home in the upscale Holmby Hills neighborhood made no mention of its scandal-plagued owner or its controversial history.
Instead, the property is described as one of the area’s “most spectacular and beautiful estates,” with 10 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms and 17,000 square feet.
It was initially reported that the rapper planned to sell the property in July 2024, less than four months after it was raided by federal agents, although he didn’t officially put it on the market until two months after those rumors emerged.
Photos from the raids show agents conducting thorough searches of the two properties, with reports that they removed multiple pieces of electronic equipment and opened safes found in homes in Los Angeles and Miami.
The indictment said agents found weapons, drugs and so-called “crazy” supplies, including narcotics, lubricants and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil, NBC News reported.
At the time, a source told Page Six that both homes sustained “significant property damage” during the raid.
Diddy’s Holmby Hills hotel comes with quite a few amenities, including a bar, wine cellar, library, gym, indoor sauna and swimming pool.
The listing also draws attention to the home’s “state-of-the-art theater with seating for 35 people,” as well as classic European details throughout the home.
“The stunning grounds feature beautiful lawns, mature trees, formal gardens, a swimming pool with waterfall and grotto, basketball court, spa and resort-like outdoor covered loggia with BBQ, bar and pizza oven,” the listing states.
Before Diddy was found guilty, legal experts explained to Realtor.com what would happen to the property if the rapper ended up serving time in prison, revealing that he was legally entitled to sell the home. However, the fate of the proceeds from the sale is likely to be in the hands of the authorities.
“Generally speaking, he can sell his house, but given the growing number of legal proceedings against him, the courts may have a say in how the proceeds are divided,” Kara Amirexplains an agent at Coldwell Banker in California.
However, if a buyer comes forward after Didi’s conviction, the federal government “could place a lien on the property” and have a say in where the funds go, Justin Papaniexplains the crisis manager at White Collar Consulting.
Amir also noted that Combs could end up incurring significant legal bills and need funds from the sale of his home to pay for them.
“He may have to sell his home to pay legal fees and seek compensation for his victims,” she said. “If he is unable to pay out of pocket, he may end up having to liquidate significant assets. In that case, the courts may oversee where the sale proceeds go.”
However, given the stigma surrounding the property, selling for the price he wants may be a difficult mountain to climb.
Papani noted that if Coombs took the home off the market, he could always rent it out as a “trophy,” explaining that his famous clients own high-end homes and sell their properties on Airbnb for up to $20,000 a night.
However, Paperny explained that Combs might have a hard time finding a buyer willing to pay the $61.5 million asking price, especially given the property’s shady ties to the rapper’s trial.
“[He] “It may be asking for too much. People may not want to be associated with him,” the crisis manager warned.
This house is one of many incredible properties Didi has owned and sold over the years. His Miami mansion is located on the exclusive Star Island and was previously owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan In 2021, the rapper lost up to $35 million.
It consists of two buildings on 1.34 acres with a total of 6 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, nearly 8,000 square feet, and stunning oceanfront views.
Diddy purchased the home next door to Estefan’s property 18 years ago for $14.5 million.
