Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet will undergo a medical at Liverpool ahead of a £60m move to Anfield, but the centre-back will not join the club in the current transfer window.
If the transfer is completed, the 20-year-old will join the Reds in the summer after the two clubs agreed a transfer fee of 55 million pounds and 5 million pounds in add-ons.

The France U-21 international will sign a five-and-a-half-year contract until the summer of 2031, with the option to extend for a further year.
