The military urgently dispatched troops to two locations in the West Bank to rescue Israelis who strayed into Area A.
The Israel Defense Forces said late Tuesday that it had urgently dispatched troops to two locations in the West Bank to rescue Israelis who strayed into Area A.
The first incident occurred in the Arab village of Nirin near Ramallah after reports that an Israeli civilian drove into the village.
After IDF troops searched the area, they located the civilian and rescued her safely outside the village.
No details were given as to why the woman entered the village.

Later that day, two more people accidentally entered the West Bank village of Husang. The IDF then searched the area, found the two civilians and brought them back to Israel.
More Israelis entering West Bank Area A
Security sources told Walla on Sunday that the number of Israeli citizens illegally entering Area A of the West Bank has increased dramatically, posing a life-threatening risk that could ultimately lead to lynchings or murders.
Officials say Hamas is fomenting incitement in these areas and single-person attacks remain a concern. They urged Israelis to obey the law and avoid Palestinian Authority cities.
Security sources said every incident of Israelis entering Area A has the potential to inflame the area.
Last year, several lynchings were averted thanks to swift intervention by the Israel Defense Forces and coordination with other security agencies.
