Newcastle host Fulham in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals tonight, with the Magpies in need of a boost after a disastrous derby defeat this weekend.
Eddie Howe’s side were beaten 1-0 by arch-rivals Sunderland, leaving them in 12th place in the Premier League after a inconsistent start to the season.

But Fulham are just two points and one place behind Newcastle in the Premier League, setting up a tight draw for a place in the top four.
