LeBron James will play against Celtics on Sunday night
Lakers star forward LeBron James did not participate in the first game, but things will be different this time.
James was not listed on the official injury report for the game against Boston, so he will miss the Lakers game. This will be James’ 62nd regular season game against the Celtics in his career.
This season, James played 37 games for Los Angeles, averaging 21.7 points, 7.2 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game. Last weekend, he played in a record 21st All-Star Game.

The Lakers (34-21) enter the showdown with Boston, which is fifth in the Western Conference standings. Meanwhile, the Celtics (36-19) are second in the Eastern Conference behind the Detroit Pistons. With playoff positioning at stake, both teams should have plenty of opportunities to compete.
