Number of executions in Iran hits 10-year high
In December, the organization reported that Iran had carried out its highest number of executions in more than a decade.
Last month, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights said the Iranian regime used the killings “as a tool of state intimidation” that “disproportionately affects minorities and immigrants.”
