Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have been forced to take emergency action ahead of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season after promising pacer Harshit Rana suffered a major blow. With their bowling attack suddenly weakening, the team has turned to Eden Gardens for mid-pre-season trials to find suitable replacements.

KKR’s bowling worries growing
KKR’s concerns are not limited to just one injury. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will miss IPL 2026 as Akash Deep fails to recover from a stress injury in his lower back in time.
