As the offseason approaches, Iowa State fans will likely experience some withdrawal with no more college football games for the next seven months.
For fans experiencing this, they can turn to the realm of video games to get their college football fix. EA Sports’ College Football 26 is the second installment in the beloved college football video game series since its return two years ago. Fans can take the field with their favorite teams, play against their biggest rivals, win big games, and even compete for a national championship.

Hawkeye fans are in for a treat as they get to play against an Iowa State team that features a pair of College Football 26’s best players. Senior offensive linemen Logan Jones and Gennings Dunker were the second- and third-highest scoring seniors on offense throughout the game.
Jones’ total score of 94 tied him with Indiana wide receiver Elijah Sarratt as the game’s highest-scoring senior offensively. Dunker’s overall grade of 93 tied him with a bunch of other talented players. Iowa State, Vanderbilt and Indiana are the only schools with multiple offensive seniors ranked in the top 10.
Jones and Dunk were well-deserved as they were both anchors of a strong Iowa offensive line that won the Joe Moore Award. Both men will hear their names called in the NFL draft in Pittsburgh in a few months, and if the cards go their way, both could easily be first-round picks. In a program with a history of producing talented offensive linemen, Jones and Dunk have risen to the top. Their ratings on “College Football 26” reflect this.
