Investigators Reportedly Believe Nancy Guthrie Case Is ‘Burglary Gone Wrong’ — And She ‘Could Be Alive’

Whitney’s report comes as local police and federal investigators have been working to find answers to the alleged kidnapping. NBC reported Sunday that investigators are also looking into whether DNA from a glove found a few miles from her home matches anyone in a federal database.

The outlet also reported that “authorities are dropping several people previously under investigation, including the man whose house was searched Friday night, a man named Carlos who was pulled over in his car last week, and any relatives of Guthrie.”
