In the second leg of the Coppa Italia quarter-finals, Inter Milan Women put in an outstanding performance to defeat Ternana 4-0 at the Gianibrera Stadium in Civica. A powerful victory brought about by skill and intensity and Inter Women have now secured their place in the semi-finals where they will face Roma.
The Nerazzurri started strongly and took the lead after just two minutes through some brilliant teamwork, with Viljamsdottir releasing Bugdja in the middle and the forward calmly beating Gioak to open the scoring. Inter Milan continued to dominate, controlling the tempo and always looking to push forward. In the 22nd minute, Griona’s pass from the right almost expanded the score, but was blocked by the visiting team’s defense. The second goal came in the 42nd minute before the intermission: Predrup’s long pass found Budja who was in control of the situation. The latter beat Corrado and calmly scored twice with his right foot.

Inter Milan took the lead early in the second half. In the 51st minute, Griona tested Gioc with his first shot from the right. A minute later, Detroye’s dangerous arc shot from the left was deflected by Gioc for a corner kick. Ternana tried to respond with long-range shots from Lazaro and Di Giamarino, but the Nerazzurri’s defense remained solid and compact. The third goal came in the 77th minute: Csiszar scored with a right-footed arc shot from a pass by Lina Magull. The final goal in the 85th minute was a true masterpiece that sealed the game. Robustellini made a pass from the left and Magul scored with a header, 4-0. After a minute of stoppage time, the final whistle confirmed a convincing victory and Inter Milan women’s football team also entered the semi-finals of the Italian Cup.
