CES 2026: EliteBook X G2 series revealed
These new innovative Copilot+ PCs combine AI performance, all-day power and effortless adaptability
and enterprise-grade security (with HP Wolf Security built-in), all rolled into one stylish suite to enhance the work experience no matter where your employees are. For the first time, HP is allowing users to choose their own processor on the same platform, including AMD, Intel and Qualcomm options.
Leading the innovation are the EliteBook X G2i and EliteBook X Flip G2i notebooks, the next generation of artificial intelligence computers. The computing solution has a screen-to-body ratio of 90% (clamshell option) and 88% (clamshell version), adapting to the user regardless of the setting. Both options feature 14-inch OLED panels that are lightweight and feature anti-glare technology, and this option in the EliteBook X series is native to Intel processors. Through optionality, consumers can expect up to 50 NPU (Neural Processing Unit) TOPS (trillion operations per second) and up to 180 platform TOPS to provide AI assistance anytime and anywhere.
While the EliteBook X G2i’s flip option is a more traditional approach, the EliteBook X Flip G2i can adapt to your workflow with four versatile usage modes and an optional HP Nested Pen. Consumers can not only write and sketch using onboard productivity features such as the ability to enlarge small text by hovering. The EliteBook X G2i and EliteBook X Flip G2i can achieve two hours of battery life on a 30-minute charge. These new laptops will be available in February 2026.

HP EliteBook X G2q next-generation artificial intelligence computer – The “q” in the product name indicates that this AI computing solution is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite (18-core CPU), giving the AI NPU processing power of up to 85 TOPS. The G2a and G2q options will arrive later than the G2i option, sometime in the spring of 2026.
