To start the process, users need to download Threads from the Instagram app, log in with an existing Instagram account and complete the setup process. If you download the app on a device that doesn’t have the main Instagram app installed, you’ll have to add your login details manually. Once logged in, Threads will ask you to select close friends with whom you want to share Instagram Stories. If you have created a list of close friends, these same users will already be checked. You can add more users and click complete.

You also have to grant a lot of application permissions for Threads in the Instagram app to work better. Once the setup process is complete, you can add photos or videos to the Threads app in the following ways: Slide up.
