WhatsApp Payments – the payments feature of the Meta-owned messaging service – recently launched a new Rs. Provide 105 cash back discount to selected users across the country. The cashback offer is valid with a minimum transaction amount of Re. 1, you can receive Rs. 35 up to three times for a total of Rs. 105. This offer is only available to WhatsApp users on Android and iOS who have been using the service for at least 30 days. Payment will only be calculated when a specific gift icon is displayed on the app. Currently, cashback is not available for WhatsApp Business users.
In April, WhatsApp launched a cashback offer, giving users cashback offers worth up to Rs. 33 transfers out of three transfers to other users using WhatsApp Payments. WhatsApp announced the cashback offer soon after it received regulatory approval to double the number of users of its payments service to 100 million users in India. While users could previously receive Rs. 11 per transaction, eligible users will now receive Rs. 35 rupees per transaction – total 1 rupee. 105, according to the company.

The company has specified certain eligibility criteria for users who want to avail cashback on the payment service. You must be a WhatsApp user for at least 30 days and register for payments on the app by adding your bank account. Cashback is available only when sending money to recipients who also use WhatsApp Payments. The Meta-owned messaging service noted that payments made when the gift icon is not visible (next to the recipient’s name) will not be eligible for the cash back offer.
Likewise, QR code payments, payments on collection requests, payments by entering the UPI ID of the recipient and payments to third-party app users will not be eligible for the cashback offer. Update to the latest version of WhatsApp from Google Play Store or App Store.

Open WhatsApp and look out for the banner icon with the gift icon above the chat list.

Select a contact who uses WhatsApp Payments and tap the rupee (£) icon on the chat bar.

Enter the amount you want to send to the recipient (Re.1 or higher) and click the Send button.

Enter your UPI PIN on the next screen.

Look for a confirmation message in the chat to confirm the transaction.

Check the WhatsApp payments section for a message confirming that you have received the cashback.
