High School student is accused of raping multiple girls. Deputies believe there’s more victims

Deputies are calling an 18-year-old high school student a sexual predator who raped several girls.

They believe there are more victims. Investigators said someone tipped off a school resource officer that a student had been victimized. Investigators believe this behavior has been occurring for some time, dating back to 2020.

Rafael O’Reilly Lerner was accused of raping, strangling, slapping and spitting on a teenage girl, and the incident was recorded. Investigators say he then threatened to post the video online and show it to her parents if she told anyone or tried to leave him. “The alleged victim is 17 years old,” the prosecutor told the judge. The arrest report said this happened several times at his home off Pine Shade Court in Dr. Phillips and even in his car. Neighbors such as Ruben Ramos were stunned. “I saw him being handcuffed and the father came out. About an hour later, the towing company came and towed the vehicle.” Neighbor Justina Reyes was shocked. “It was very frustrating, thank God, we don’t have girls in the house.” Investigators also said he sexually assaulted a 19-year-old girl and forced a 16-year-old girl to send explicit photos, saying he was a gang member and knew where she lived.

During his first appearance, the judge told the court, “Given the allegations, I do not want him to be on the internet or be able to take or send images to the alleged victim.”

“It’s sad. A kid that young is already in trouble,” Ramos said. “We tried talking to O’Reilly Lerner’s parents, but no one answered the door at their home.

Investigators said O’Reilly Lerner’s tactics were emotionally and physically cruel. He forced them to have sex, became extremely violent, and videotaped them. Then threaten to expose them.

A judge ordered O’Reilly Lerner jailed without bail. If you know someone who has been victimized, please call the OCSO non-emergency hotline at 407-836-HELP. A detective will get back to you.
