Harden’s 31 points, 10 rebounds lead Clippers past Raptors 122-117 in OT for 5th straight win

TORONTO (AP) — James Harden had 31 points and 10 assists, Jordan Miller added 19 points and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Toronto Raptors 121-117 in overtime on Friday night to extend their winning streak to five games.

Ivica Zubac had 16 points and 14 rebounds, Cam Christie had 16 points and Kris Dunn added 15 points as the Clippers notched their 12th win in 14 games since a 6-21 start to the season.

Toronto’s Scotty Barnes scored 24 points and Brandon Ingram scored 19 points.

The Clippers have a road record of 7 wins and 14 losses. They have won four of their last five games on the road.

Kawhi Leonard missed the team’s only regular-season visit to Toronto with a sprained right ankle. Leonard won the 2019 NBA championship with the Raptors.

The Raptors lost their second in 21 games after leading three quarters.

With 3 minutes and 35 seconds left in regular time, Toronto led 109-101, but Harden went on an 8-0 spurt and missed six consecutive shots. Harden made four consecutive free throws to start overtime.

Harden made 10 of 27 shots and 2 of 15 three-pointers. He was 9-for-10 from the free throw line.

With 55 seconds left in overtime, Barnes scored to tie the score to one point, and then Harden responded with a pull-up jumper.

Toronto’s Jamal Shedd had 15 points and a career-high 13 assists. Ochai Agbaji and Gradey Dick each scored 15 points, and Sandro Mamukelashvili added 13 points.

Zubac returns after missing Wednesday’s home win over Washington with a sprained left ankle.
