Hall was the team’s leading scorer, shooting 11 of 14 from the field, including 4 of 5 from three-point range. He added five assists and made all four free throws.

Hall scored 32 points in a 90-88 loss to Texas A&M on Tuesday, becoming the first Auburn player since Wesley Person in 1994 to score at least 30 points in back-to-back games.

Hall also surpassed 1,500 career points in the first half and was honored during a timeout.

Darius Acuff Jr. scored 19 points for Arkansas (12-4, 2-1), which shot 43 percent from the field. Merrick Thomas, who came off the bench, scored 17 points, and substitute forward Malik Evan scored 13 points and 12 rebounds. Trayvon Brazile had 12 points and five rebounds.

The Tigers went on a 15-3 run to take an early lead and entered halftime with a 49-34 lead. Auburn extended its lead throughout the second half, finishing 10 of 22 (45 percent) from 3-point range.

The Tigers outrebounded Arkansas 37-28 and outscored Arkansas 18-9 in second-chance points. They also led 48-28 in scoring inside.

Murphy looked in pain, exiting the first half and then returning.

Tahad Pettiford returned to Auburn’s starting lineup after coming off the bench in consecutive losses to Georgia and Texas A&M, which decision-making coach Steven Pearl attributed to “failing to meet team standards.”
