Giannis Antetokounmpo’s passionate rant against Bucks is good news for Stephen Curry, Warriors originally appeared on The Sporting News Click here to add Sports News as your go-to source.
It’s not far-fetched that the Golden State Warriors don’t want their season to end on a bad note.

As long as Stephen Curry is part of their organization, they should be motivated to compete for a championship. While Jimmy Butler’s ACL injury will make it difficult for the Warriors to go down this road this year, replacing the six-time All-Star with disgruntled Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo might be the most logical solution.
Antetokounmpo’s passionate roar after the Bucks fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder 122-102 on Wednesday night should inspire Curry and the Warriors as the Feb. 5 trade deadline approaches.
“We didn’t play hard,” Antetokounmpo said. “We didn’t do the right things. We weren’t playing to win. We weren’t playing together. Our chemistry wasn’t there.”
“Guys were being selfish and trying to find their own shots instead of finding the right shots for the team. Guys were trying to do it on their own.”
“Sometimes, I feel like when we’re down 10, 15, 20 points, we try to make it up in a game and it doesn’t work.”

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that Antetokounmpo is unhappy in Milwaukee.
While the NBA championship forward said he would never request a trade from the Bucks, his growing dissatisfaction with the team’s direction could lead him to change his stance and find better opportunities elsewhere.
If that comes to pass, the Warriors could win the Antetokounmpo sweepstakes by crafting an enticing trade package for the future Hall of Famer (any Warriors trade would likely have to include Jonathan Kuminga).
The duo of Curry and Antetokounmpo will bring energy to the Warriors moving forward and potentially strike fear into the rest of the league. Keep an eye out for a potential blockbuster trade between Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Warriors.
