Another Georgia Bulldogs defensive back has transferred to a new destination. Georgia transfer defensive back Adrian Maddox has committed to the Kansas State Wildcats, according to Pete Knuckles.
Maddox is 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has played for three teams during his career. He committed to Alabama State in 2022 after graduating from Heritage High School in Conyers, Georgia. Maddox totaled 70 tackles, 1 sack, 2 forced fumbles and 2 interceptions with the Hornets.

With this success, he transferred to the UAB Trail Blazers in 2024. He continued to have success in his new destination, finishing with 44 tackles, two more forced fumbles, and a 99-yard pick-six against Rice. When he transferred to Georgia in 2025, fans believed his success would transfer to the Final Four level. He even gave up his commitment to the Florida Gators in favor of Georgia, so he’s become a fan favorite.
Unfortunately, this didn’t happen. Maddox played in just four games, put up numbers in three contests, and had just four tackles during his tenure at Georgia. He redshirted to maintain his final season of eligibility, which he will spend with the Wildcats.
He is one of four Georgia Bulldogs defensive backs who have announced transfer destinations. Jaden Harris went to Kansas State, Ondell Evans committed to North Carolina State, Jonelle Aguero transferred to the Lady Rebels, and Daniel Harris has yet to find a destination. Regardless, Georgia has done a good job of replacing the secondary with talent, signing Clemson safety Khalil Barnes, ECU safety Jamali Reeder and USC cornerback Braylon Conley.
