The Bechler era begins Sunday at LASK
An exciting end to an eventful week! With a change of coach, our Red Bulls team is now Daniel Bechlerwe will travel to the Raiffeisen Arena to face their closest rivals on Sunday at 17:00 CET Linz in clash at top of table. Linz are level with us on points and second on goal difference.

The first game of the season went well for us, winning 3-0, but from then on, Linz has completely changed. Under the management of Dietmar Kubauer, Steel City climbed from second-to-last to second after a disastrous start to the season.
After the winter break – during which the Upper Austrians completed their preparation period in Belek at the same time as us – their new year began quite successfully, although not as successfully as in late autumn. In the cup quarter-finals, the derby narrowly defeated Linz Blue 3-2, followed by a 1-0 league victory over Tyrol and a 1-1 draw with Reed.
The main question this Sunday is: can our team implement it immediately? Their new head coach Daniel Bechler’s tactical plan and fending off challenges from the chasers? ADMIRAL The Bundesliga is slowly but surely entering the decisive phase of the season – it’s time to start winning!

Opinion
The time between my arrival and my first game is short, so it’s important that I gather as many impressions of my players as possible in the days leading up to the LASK game. I’m looking forward to this top-of-the-table clash on Sunday. We are all excited about this encounter and also because we can prove that we are a very good team.

We have a very difficult but exciting away game ahead of us. LASK’s performance was outstanding as they fought their way from the bottom of the table to almost to the top. We want to finish this game on Sunday and stay at the top of the table. In this top-level competition, the team that makes fewer mistakes and performs more consistently is likely to emerge victorious. Obviously, this is the team we want to be.
