Former Buffalo Bills first-round draft pick, Pro Bowler and eventual All-Pro Stephon Gilmore has retired from the NFL.
Gilmore, 35, announced his decision via his Instagram social media account:
Gilmore is Buffalo’s No. 10 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He played several seasons with the Bills and made the Pro Bowl in his final season in Buffalo.

After leaving the Bills, Gilmore remained a positive player for the next few years, including being named a first-team All-Pro and a Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots.
After leaving New England to join the Carolina Panthers in 2021, Gilmore declined. He bounced from team to team, finishing his career with the Indianapolis Colts (2022), Dallas Cowboys (2023) and Minnesota Vikings (2024).
