According to On3’s Pete Nakos, former Alabama Crimson Tide running back Haynes plans to re-enter the NCAA transfer portal.
Haynes originally began his college career at Alabama and most recently spent the 2025 season at Michigan State, his only season with the Wolverines.

Haynes had a career year with the Wolverines last season, starting in seven games and becoming one of the Big Ten’s top running backs. In those seven games, Haynes rushed 121 times for 857 yards and 10 touchdowns while also leading the Big Ten in averaging 7.1 yards per carry.
Haynes, rated a five-star recruit out of high school according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, had a stellar two seasons at Alabama as a freshman and sophomore in 2023-24, appearing in a total of 25 games. During his time at the University of Alabama, Haynes rushed 104 times for 616 yards and nine touchdowns, while also catching 17 passes for 99 yards.
Haynes has one season of eligibility remaining at the collegiate level.
