First Tesla Centre in India to Open Doors on November 27 With Charging, Retail, and After-Sales Services

Tesla on Wednesday announced the opening of its first Tesla Center in India. It is said to be a one-stop shop facility – offering retail, after-sales, delivery and logistics as well as charging station services at one integrated location. The center opened on November 27 and is located at Orchid Business Park, Gurgaon. The new Tesla Center expands Elon Musk’s car company’s foothold in India, following the opening of Tesla Experience Centers in Mumbai and Delhi.

Tesla said the new center in Gurgaon is designed to meet growing consumer demand in northern India. The experience begins with retail services, where customers can test drive and purchase Tesla vehicles. They also received education on the company’s electric vehicle technology and vehicle capabilities.

Currently, the only vehicle Tesla sells in showrooms and in India is the Tesla Model Y, which is priced at Rs. The rear-wheel drive (RWD) variant is priced at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the long-range RWD variant is priced starting at Rs. 67.89 Lakh (ex-showroom).

V4 Supercharging station at Tesla Center in Gurgaon

There is a V4 Supercharging station on site. This enables existing Tesla owners to charge their vehicles at Tesla Centers using fast charging infrastructure. The V4 Super Charger has a peak power output rate of 250kW and can charge the Tesla Model Y. Charging can provide a range of 275 kilometers in just 15 minutes.

This location also offers after-sales support, including vehicle diagnostics and maintenance. Interestingly, Tesla also showed off its Optimus Gen 2 humanoid robot on site, although it’s not yet in use.

Tesla currently has V4 Supercharging stations in use at One BKC in Mumbai, Worldmark 3 building in Delhi and Tesla Center in Gurgaon. The company said it will also set up fast charging infrastructure at One Horizon buildings in Gurgaon, Navi and South Mumbai.

Tesla owners can also enroll in home charging plans starting at Rs. 22,500 (excluding GST). It includes a wall connector for single phase installation. In addition, the company will provide a free wall connector with the purchase of a new Tesla in the fourth quarter of 2025.
