The Ravens are clearly pushing all of their 2026 chips into the middle of the standings, a move that could put Baltimore in the running for a Super Bowl title.
But as we all know, Lamar Jackson’s offense was the last straw for the Ravens, and the impact this move had on Lamar cannot be underestimated.
ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky believes Lamar has no more excuses for a Super Bowl title due to the Crosby trade.
“I love Lamar, no more excuses now, it’s all there,” Orlovsky said. “The coaching, the offense, the wrecking ball on defense, now Baltimore and an ownership group, you’ve got to get it done, Lamar. It’s all there, and it’s a desperation move for an organization because we’re on the back end of this window with this MVP quarterback, and we’ve got to find a way to get it done.”

Is the pressure all on Lamar?
It does feel that way.
Also, Jackson’s Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum was signed by the Las Vegas Raiders, creating a big hole in the middle of the offensive line. So that has to be taken into account as well.
The defense struggled last season, and now that Jesse Minter has taken over, and with the addition of Crosby, expect the Ravens’ defensive rebound to be strong.
However, all eyes will be on Lamar and the offense to see if they can finally put together enough to make a Super Bowl run.
