EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The El Paso Independent School District has named a new principal for Coach Wally Hartley PK-8 School.
The El Paso Independent School District has selected Dr. Elisa Aranda as the school’s new principal.
“Aranda has a strong background in public education and a passion for fostering high-quality instruction, collaborative school cultures and meaningful family engagement,” EPISD said in a release. “Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of leadership roles focused on enhancing teaching and learning while supporting the whole child.”
“I am honored to join the Coach Wally Hartley PK-8 community,” Aranda said. “I look forward to working with students, staff and families to build on the school’s strengths and ensure every student is supported, challenged and inspired to succeed.”
Aranda is known for her student-centered approach and commitment to empowering teachers and campus leaders, EPISD said.
The district said Coach Wally Hartley PK-8 School serves students from early childhood through middle school and provides a unique opportunity to support continuity of learning and student development across multiple grade levels.
