Brandon Johnson
The Eagles temporarily elevated Johnson to the roster for the second straight week. In Week 16, Johnson completed 5 defensive steals in garbage time and also completed 4 special team steals. An undrafted rookie, Johnson will be active as a depth option ahead of 2025 fifth-round pick Mike Williams.
Keleki Latu
Latu’s addition to the roster feels noteworthy since Bills tight ends Dalton Kinkaid and Dawson Knox were ruled unavailable. It looks like Buffalo is preparing for the possibility that at least one of them won’t be able to suit up. We’ll know more when the Eagles-Bills inactive status is announced Sunday at 2:55 pm ET.
Side note: The Eagles have until Saturday at 4:00 PM ET to activate Cameron Williams from injured reserve if they hope to play in Week 17. As expected, they did not activate the rookie offensive lineman. But his training window to return from injured reserve remains open for now.
