Los Angeles Dodgers left-handed pitcher Jack Dryer was named to the Baseball Digest Rookie All-Star Team as the team’s only relief pitcher.
Dreher made his debut with the Dodgers in 2025 and played in 67 games throughout the season. The reliever posted a 2.95 ERA in 76.1 innings pitched, striking out a total of 74 batters during his time in the premier league.

The left-hander has the second-highest ERA among Dodgers relievers with more than 20 plate appearances, trailing only Edgardo Henriquez.
Dreher has been recognized time and time again for his performances in 2025 and was also named the top reliever to debut in 2025 by Anthony Castrovinz of MLB.com.

“Really, this is a long shot, as there are always sick young relievers who excel from their debuts,” Castrovins wrote. “There’s no shortage this season. If we limit pitching to at least 40 innings, the Cardinals’ Matt Swanson, the White Sox’s Mike Vasile, the Blue Jays’ Brayden Fisher, the Padres’ David Morgan, the Marlins’ Cade Gibson, the Rays’ Ian Seymour and the Rockies’ Juan Mejia all make a strong case for an adjusted ERA+ well above league average.

“Still, the 26-year-old Dreher deserves some love as he provided a huge workload (72 1/3 innings) and solid relief work (1.05 WHIP, 2.86 ERA) for a No. 1 Dodgers team that had a deep roster but often struggled in the bullpen. Dreher’s calmness belied his inexperience.”

Jack Dreyer will play a key role in Dodgers bullpen in 2026
Dreyer’s dominance last season also carried over into the postseason, where the left-hander made four appearances. He pitched 0.2 scoreless innings against the Cincinnati Reds in the Wild Card Round and followed that up with a scoreless performance against the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLDS.

He made two more World Series appearances, but was unsuccessful both times.
Dreher is sure to play a big role in a Dodgers bullpen that struggled through the end of 2025 and hopes to have an equally solid season in 2026 as the Dodgers look to win their third straight World Series title.
