Dodgers, Max Muncy agree to 1-year, $10 million contract extension with 2028 option

Max Muncy’s career with the Los Angeles Dodgers will last at least two more seasons.

The veteran infielder agreed to a one-year, $7 million extension through 2027, the team announced Thursday. The deal includes a $10 million club option for 2028 and a $3 million buyout.

Muncy, 35, initially signed with the Dodgers through the 2026 season, picking up his $10 million club option. He will become a free agent after the season.
