Did police arrest suspect in SWAT raid?

Law enforcement operations unfolded near Nancy Guthrie’s home Friday night as the search for her intensified.

According to CNN, more than 12 vehicles, including SWAT officers, swarmed the area and the operation lasted nearly four hours. Police reportedly questioned one man and released him after determining he was not the kidnapper. A law enforcement official told CNN “this particular tip will not be pursued any further.”

While police did not find the kidnappers Friday, the search did make progress. Investigators found DNA at Guthrie’s home that does not belong to her or anyone close to her and is currently testing it.

Guthrie, 84; today Host Savannah Guthrie has been missing for two weeks after an apparent abduction from her home in the Catalina Foothills, Arizona.

Police have not yet released the names of any suspects. The FBI is looking for a man between 5 feet 9 and 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build and carrying an Ozark Trail hiking backpack, according to doorbell video taken at Guthrie’s home the night she disappeared.
