Denver Summit FC signs Germany International forward Melissa Kössler from Frauen-Bundesliga’s TSG Hoffenheim

Today, Denver Summit FC announced that they have signed striker Melissa Kossler of Bundesliga side Hoffenheim to a two-year contract through the 2027 season.

“Coming to the NWSL is an exciting step in my career,” Kosler said. “This is a league with a high level of competition and I’m looking forward to challenging myself and contributing to the Denver Summit Football Club.”

Internationally, Kossler has represented Germany’s youth and senior teams. Since 2023, she has represented the national team many times.

The 25-year-old Kosler has been playing for TSG Hoffenheim since 2022. She made 50 league appearances and scored over 20 goals for the club.

“We are excited to add Melissa’s offensive abilities and experience at the club and international levels,” said Denver Summit FC General Manager Curt Johnson. “Her goalscoring record in the Bundesliga and background with the German national team will strengthen our squad as we prepare for our first season in the league.”
