Barcelona president Deco has outlined the club’s true position on signing Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford permanently.
uncertain future
Rashford has excelled in Spain since joining Barcelona on a season-long loan last summer. He was part of Ruben Amorim’s infamous bomb squad, whose presence in the dugout made the striker’s stay at Old Trafford untenable.

There is interest in Rashford but he has made it clear he is only keen on joining Barcelona. He made the dream move when teams pounced on him.
Rashford has scored 4 goals and provided 8 assists in La Liga this season, helping Barcelona strive to defend the La Liga title. The England international has scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists in all competitions.
Hansi Flick has expressed his admiration for Rashford on several occasions and there are suggestions Barca have decided to take up a £26m option to keep him permanently. Rashford has made no secret of his desire to stay at Camp Nou.
Recently, however, Barcelona president-elect Joan Laporta suggested they could try to convince United to loan the 28-year-old out again.

Such a result would be frustrating for the Red Devils, who may have been counting on the financial boost from Rashford’s exit to fund their plans.
Sporting director Deco spoke to reporters on Sunday and clarified Barcelona’s stance on Rashford.
