Lascelles to leave Newcastle
Leicester City are expected to sign Jamal Lascelles from Newcastle for £7 million.
The defender has been on the watch lists of a number of Championship clubs throughout the January transfer window and his contract on Tyneside expires in the summer.
The 32-year-old has made more than 250 appearances for the Magpies but has limited minutes this season. His experience will be vital at the King Power Stadium as the Foxes look to avoid falling further into a relegation battle.

Jacquet prepares for Liverpool medical test
Liverpool have agreed in principle to sign 20-year-old defender Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes.
The youngster’s transfer fee is expected to be worth £55m plus add-ons and he will undergo a medical today ahead of a move to Anfield in the summer.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea have offered the same fee for the Rennes star, but with Josh Acheampong remaining in SW6 and Mamadou Sarr returning, Merseyside offers a more realistic prospect of playing time.
