Dan Campbell praises new Detroit Lions OT Blake Miller

“He has a way of preparing, a way of training, all those things. But really, you just turn on the tape,” Campbell said. “This guy is a physical finisher, man. That’s what he does. And he’s versatile and can obviously pass the pro game and the run game, so we feel like he’s a great fit for us.”

Miller set the Clemson record for most consecutive starts by a non-professional with 54. Campbell said he enjoyed Miller’s experience.

“Man, he plays a lot of football. He’s solid, he’s consistent, he can do it all,” Campbell said. “He’s physical in the run game. Very smart. Tough, exciting, he has length and moves well. We feel like he’s a guy that can come in and compete and help us on the O-line side.”
