CyberPowerPC says eSports masterclass targeted at young gamers and parents
CyberPowerPC said in a press release that it has hosted two sessions in its ongoing eSports Masterclass series at ApeCity, Navi Mumbai. To date, more than 30 parents and children have participated in these masterclasses. The first session was moderated by Vishal Parekh (COO, CyberPowerPC), Yash Bhanushali and Jai Shah (Co-Founders, ApeCity by Orangutan).
On the other hand, the second esports masterclass features two popular Indian esports players, Arman (Aaru) and Ankit Shukla (Akop). These gamers spoke candidly with younger gamers about their experiences dealing with competitive pressure, frustration, burnout and social media scrutiny.
According to CyberPowerPC, these esports masterclasses are designed to foster conversations between gamers and their parents about the potential of esports, while creating an encouraging environment for young esports players to grow and address common misconceptions associated with the industry.
The company said it will host these sessions every Sunday at ApeCity in Navi Mumbai and also plans to take other steps to increase acceptance of computer gaming and esports in the country.
