How the Cowboys select their early first-round pick (No. 12 overall) has been a hotly debated topic and will likely continue until the end of April. But at least Dallas will have plenty of information before sending out draft cards.
The Cowboys will welcome LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane into the top 30, the third confirmed player so far joining Indiana wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. and USC safety Kamari Ramsey.
Delaine, considered one of the top cornerbacks in the 2026 draft class, had just 14 catches all season with the Tigers and posted a coverage grade of 90.7. His overall PFF grade of 90.5 ranked third among 897 college corners.

Out of high school, Derain was recruited by new Cowboys cornerbacks coach Ryan Smith, who brought the three-star prospect to Virginia Tech.
In three seasons with the Hokies, DeLeon appeared in 33 games, made 146 tackles and intercepted six passes. After his first season, Delaine was named a 247 Sports True Newman All-American, College Football News Freshman All-American honorable mention, ACC Honorable Mention and ACC Third Team.
He then transferred to Louisiana State University, where he played in 11 games in one season, completing 45 tackles, 2 interceptions and 11 passes defended.
In his only season with the Tigers, DeLeon was a unanimous All-American and named to the SEC First Team. He was also a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, given to the nation’s top defensive back, which went to Ohio State safety Caleb Downs.

Delane currently ranks ninth in the PFF consensus rankings.
