Colorado and Brennan marion add exciting WR

Brennan Marion is an exciting hire for any long-time CU fan. Since 2021, he has been receiving attention from fans. Now that he’s here, the Colorado Buffaloes are immediately seeing recruiting dividends that feel expected and deserved. Coach Prime has been a great employee here.

Marion brought his own brand of scheme (very Deion Sanders-esque) called the Go-Go offense. The Go-Go offense incorporates a lot of option, running, and shooting concepts into a strange and interesting blend. We know JuJu Lewis will completely run the offense, with Jordan Sitton protecting his blindside. Now, the Buffs need talent around him.

Enter Cam Perry.

Perry is one of 50-60 players expected to transfer this season. However, beyond the quantity, the quality of this guy is also very high.

Cam Perry had nearly 1,000 receiving yards last year while playing for Ohio State’s Miami coach. On top of that, his 23.3 yards per catch ranked third nationally. In Marion’s offense, perimeter players need to get deep into the open space frequently. This is a major offense. Perry is a good fit. Despite his relatively small frame, the former Indiana transfer is a magician in the air and knows how to position himself for contested catches. He will play regularly for the Buffs.

Welcome, Cam!
