SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Cole Seta scored a career-high 37 points, including a career-high seven 3-pointers, and Notre Dame snapped a five-game losing streak with an 89-74 victory over Georgia Tech on Saturday.
Celta made 12 of 20 shots, 7 of 11 from long range, and 6 of 6 from the free throw line. It was the second 30-point game for the sophomore in his career, the other coming five games ago when he scored 34 points against Virginia. He averaged 10.9 points per game and only scored 20 points in one game.

The Fighting Irish hit their first four shots in the second half to extend their 12-point lead to 53-35 at halftime. Later in the half, Celta scored 12 consecutive points for Notre Dame. With 3 minutes left in the game, the Irish led 80-59. Their final 11 points came at the free throw line.
Braeden Shrewsberry scored 20 points and Logan Imes had 14 points for Notre Dame (12-14, 3-10 ACC). Ames and Carson Toth each grabbed nine rebounds.
Baye Ndongo had 14 points and 12 rebounds for Georgia Tech (11-15, 2-11). Kovaci Reeves Jr. scored 16 points, Jaden Mustav scored 14 points and Akai Fleming scored 13 points.
Notre Dame made 11 3-pointers in the first half, including five from Certa and four from Shrewsberry. At halftime, Notre Dame led 45-33.

In this game, Notre Dame made 14 of 28 three-pointers and Georgia Tech made 11 of 30 three-pointers.
The win was Notre Dame’s 12th straight at home against Georgia Tech, and the Irish lead the entire series 20-14.
Georgia Tech has now lost six straight.
